Personal Information Protection Basic Policy

One Step Co., Ltd. pledges to pay maximum attention to personal information protection and to be a company that responds to the trust of the individual.

Respect for privacy. That is the beginning of trust.

Basic Policy

One Step Co., Ltd. deeply recognizes that personal information constitutes important information that makes up privacy, and believes that all personal information must be handled carefully under the principle of respecting individual dignity. In order to become a company that is trusted, loved, and proud of itself by all people including customers and business partners (hereinafter collectively referred to as "the individual"), we establish the following basic policy and strive for personal information protection.

1. Purpose of Use of Personal Information

When we receive personal information, we will use it within the scope of the purpose that was clearly stated when the personal information was provided.

2. Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties

We will not disclose personal information to any third party except in the following cases:

  1. When there is consent from the individual
  2. When we determine that it is appropriate for our affiliated companies or agents to respond or handle inquiries from the individual
  3. When it is necessary to disclose to business contractors or cooperating companies who have concluded confidentiality agreements in advance for the implementation of the collection purpose clearly stated to the individual
  4. When it is necessary to disclose personal information to financial institutions for payment of fees for product purchases or services
  5. When disclosure is made in a state where the individual cannot be identified (statistical materials, etc.)
  6. When disclosure to third parties is permitted by laws, guidelines, etc.

In addition, when we provide or entrust personal information held by our company to third parties, we will give sufficient consideration to the selection of the provider or contractor, and strive to provide necessary supervision to ensure that appropriate and reliable protection measures are taken in the same manner as our handling.

3. Management of Personal Information

We will appropriately manage the individual's personal information and take preventive measures and security measures against unauthorized access, loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage of personal information. We will also continue to implement in-house education regarding the protection and appropriate handling of personal information.

4. Inquiries Regarding Personal Information

When an individual wishes to inquire, modify, or delete their own personal information, we will respond promptly based on our prescribed procedures.

5. Compliance with Laws and Standards and Review

We will comply with applicable laws and standards regarding personal information and strive for continuous improvement and enhancement of personal information protection efforts.
